Erase files and folders permanently

With WipeFile, you can rest assured the files and folders you delete from your computer won’t be recovered by any means.

This simple yet powerful deletion tool supports more than a dozen different wiping methods, including the standards used by the US Department of Defense, the US Airforce and the NATO. The methods included in WipeFile go from the simplest one – which overwrites data just once – to the most complex one, which overwrites deleted files up to 35 times.

Using WipeFile is really simple. The program launches in German, but you can easily switch to English by going to Extras > Sprache/Language. Then all you need to do is select the files and folders you want to erase, pick a wiping method and click the Wipe button. The whole deletion process in WipeFile hardly takes more than one minute.

WipeFile includes also handy features such as the possibility to add file masks when working with folders (so that you only erase a certain file type) and seamless integration with Windows Explorer, which lets you use the program from the context menu. The only drawback to this great little tool, if any, is that the documentation hasn't been translated to English. But then again, you don't really need help to use it.

WipeFile deletes selected files and folders permanently, so that no one can recover them later on.
